Agents who display the I am one® logo are doing more than just conveying their status as REALTORS®; they're declaring their passion for the industry and their willingness to go above and beyond what is merely required by law.

Not every real estate agent is a REALTOR®, but once an agent becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, he or she is held to the higher standards of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and pledge to observe its spirit in all of their activities.

REALTORS® serve on their local association boards, through various committees and groups, in order to improve the business environment for all real estate professionals. They believe in setting the bar high and working towards common goals.

As a group, REALTORS® are able to have a strong voice on legislative issues. Members work to protect private property rights, and educate lawmakers on matters of importance to the real estate industry. REALTORS® keep the American Dream of home ownership alive.
